Jon-Erik Lappano is an editor and filmmaker with a focus on environmental and cultural storytelling and education. He resides in Toronto, Canada.
Jon-Erik is currently completing a graduate degree in Education at the University of Toronto (OISE), with a focus on environmental adult education, ecological literacy, and creative inquiry. He is a graduate of York University’s Bachelor of Environmental Studies Program, where he specialized in Environment, Culture, and Communication.
He was Managing Editor of Corporate Knights magazine until July 2011, where he launched and directed the Corporate Knights Podcast. He co-founded New Nature Documentaries in 2006, a production company dedicated to making films about environments and cultures in transition. In his spare time he works as a freelance creative director of short documentaries and promotional videos.
Perhaps most importantly, he wholeheartedly enjoys a good sandwich, and strives to have at least one every day.
